 Horse Tales TV Show
   
 
 
Marsh Tacky horses will be featured on, October 2, 2011, on a new TV show, Horse Tales, hosted by David Grant (aka Pee Dee Cowboy) and his daughter Blaire. The show will air weekly on WWMB CW21 on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and will feature horse activity in South Carolina. The episodes will be available for viewing on the Horse Tales website: http://horsetalestv.com.
 
 
 American Gun Dog Show
 
 
 

Marsh Tacky owner and breeder, Marion Gohagan, along with his son, Jake, and friend, Jeff Williams, filmed a hog hunting show with Marsh Tackies in mid- May 2011. It will air as a show about the American Gun Dog on the Sportsman Channel in September.  http://www.americangundog.com/THISWEEK.html 

 
 
Marsh Tackies at Honey Horn Plantation
Planning a trip to Hilton Head Island, SC? If so, drop by the Coastal Discovery Museum's Honey Horn Plantation and see Marion Gohagan's Marsh Tacky mare, Bullet, and her filly, Honey Horn May! They now live in the newly renovated horse barn and serve as ambassadors to the breed.

Congratulations to Sara Wright, Education Reporter for Bluffton Today, for winning second place in the South Carolina Press Association’s Photo Contest for her photo of Bullet and Honey Horn May!  She won second place for a Feature Photo in a daily newspaper with a circulation under 20,000.  Thank you for all that you do to support and promote the Marsh Tacky horse!
 

11-year-old Thomas Goodwin and Marsh Tacky Liberty Blue, along with proud parents, Chris and MJ Goodwin of Blackberry Ridge Horse Farm, represented our state heritage horse at the Upstate Equine Expo - Horse Play on May 21, 2011 at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, SC.
